Review: Essence Nail Art Twins 06 Bella & Edward

Tra i prodotti per nail art della Essence ci sono i "Twins", che significa "gemelli", sono dei duo di smalti capaci di creare un look meraviglioso e particolare in pochissimi minuti. Attualmente le combinazioni disponibili sono otto ed ogni duo è composto da un colour base e  da un glitter topper, che possono essere usati anche individualmente o applicati in combinazioni diverse utilizzando altri smalti. 

Al momento io ho acquistato solamente una di queste otto combinazioni, ma ne sono rimasta talmente colpita che ne comprerò certamente delle altre.


Il duo di cui vi voglio parlare è lo 06 composto dal colour base Bella e dal glitter topper Edward, chiamati come i protagonisti della saga Twilight.

La stesura di entrambi è piuttosto buona anche se il colour base è un po' pastoso e quindi per una coprenza perfetta saranno necessarie due passate per uniformare bene il colore, nonostante di per sè sia molto pigmentato. Ho applicato prima il colour base e, dopo circa cinque minuti, ho steso due passate del glitter topper, la cui applicazione ha ridotto il tempo di asciugatura a circa una decina di minuti. In realtà sarebbe sufficiente un'unica passata di quest'ultimo ma personalmente preferivo un effetto più glitteroso. La durata è anche piuttosto buona, lo smalto ha cominciato a rovinarsi infatti dopo cinque giorni.

Devo ammettere che i due smalti sono estremamente belli insieme e l'effetto finale è davvero meraviglioso! Inoltre trovo che anche da solo il colour base sia magnifico!

Between the nail art's products by Essence there are the "Twins", duo of nail polishes able to create a marvelous and particular look in few minutes. At the moment the avaiable combinations are eight and every duo is composed by a colour base and a glitter topper, that could be used even individually or applied in different combinations using other nail polishes.

At the moment I've bought only one of these eight combinations, but I liked it so much that I'll buy surely other.

The duo I want to talk about is the 06 composed by the colour base Bella and the glitter topper Edward, called as the main characters of "The Twilight Saga".

The drawing up of both is quite good even if the colour base is a bit thick and so for a perfect coverage will be necessary two coats to conform perfectly the colour, although it's very pigmented on its own. First I applied the colour base and, after about five minutes, I applied two coats of the glitter topper, not because it was necessary but because I liked an effect with more glitters. The time of drying is about ten minutes. Even the lasting is quite good, infact the nail polish started to damage after five days.

I have to admit that the two nail polishes are extremely good together and the final effect is really marvelous! I think that the colour base used alone is beautiful, too.
